UNICEF Austria has launched a new service, supported by the austrian service number provider telequest. With the new UNICEF donation hotline it is possible to donate EUR 5,- per call. The donation is handled fully automatically and will be charged via telephone bill of the donator. The number can be reached 24/7.
Red Nose Day
This year RED NOSE DAY is touring Germany again with a number of individual activities supported by TV channel ProSieben.
There was also a possibility for fund raising via telephone.
In cooperation with Ecotel, telequest has provided a donation hotline for Austria and Switzerland.
The donation numbers were advertised in line with a comdey charity show aired on March, 11th 2005.
The hotlines are still open for donation calls.

SOS Children´s Villages
From November 12th, 2004 until December 5th, 2004 German TV station VOX started a campaign to fund the SOS Children's Villages. For Austria, a donation hotline was installed by telequest. Donation calls were charged at EUR 5.00 per call and the donated money was collected via the caller´s telephone bills.
Gemeinsam für Afrika ("Wetten Dass - Grönemeyer") - Together for Africa ("Wetten Dass - Grönemeyer")
Themed "Gemeinsam für Afrika" ("Together for Africa"), 26 German relief organisations spearheaded by German singer/songwriter Herbert Grönemeyer have promoted donation activities to help poor people in Africa. The donation project was advertised on "Wetten Dass" TV show in Graz, Austria.
Apart from the possibility to donate on-line, a donation hotline was installed for Austria, Germany and Switzerland. The Austrian donation hotline was again provided by telequest.
